Added strength to the red and black pack.

South African lock Andries Ferreira (26 years old, 6ft 6in tall, weighing 19 stone), regularly included in the line-up of the Lions team in South Africa (15 appearances in 15 games last year in “Super Rugby”, including the final against the Hurricanes, when he was associated with Mostert in the second row) and winner of the 2015 Currie Cup, is to become a Rugby Club Toulonnais player in the next few days. He will stand in as injury cover for Juanne Smith, sidelined following biceps surgery, who faces a possible four-month absence.
Andries Ferreira, a powerful player, is formidable in the scrum and will team up with his fellow countrymen: Juanne Smith, Duane Vermeulen, Marcel Van der Merwe, Aidon Davis, Juandré Kruger and, of course, Bryan Habana.
