The declarations after the Toulouse vs. Toulon game.

Here are the main declarations after the Toulouse vs. Toulon game, Day 4 of the Top 14, which our men in red and black won 32-15 last Sunday afternoon, at the Stade Ernest Wallon.
Mourad Boudjellal, RCT chairman: « It’s been a very tough week. Many lies were printed in the press. I never said I was going to sack Dominguez. I simply wanted the players to live up to the expectations people have when a player wears that shirt. I’ve never had the intention of dismissing him, but I was worried, I admit it. It was the first time I had been looking towards the bottom of the table, not the top. I’m not getting carried away, but I’m certain of one thing: the team is ready to fight – for Diego, amongst other things, and this is very positive. »
Jacques Delmas, RCT forwards coach: « The team showed solidarity, envy, self-denial. When those ingredients are blended together, playing rugby may look easier. There was a turning point in the game, just before half-time, when we lost the ball. Toulouse could then score but, on our next move, we scored. Luck often comes into play in rugby and, this time, it was on our side. We’re very glad but we’re not getting carried away for that matter. »
Charles Ollivon, RCT flanker: « It may seem unreal to you, but we knew we could win anywhere. We just had to play the way we do when training – what we didn’t do against Brive, by the way. We worked in a clever way, we never panicked, we did everything in the right order and earnt a precious bonus point. We had lost a home game and we told ourselves we had to make up for this by winning an away game. Now, it’s all about recuperating and, then, thinking about the next game against Racing 92. »
