Semi Radradra : "I wanted to be part of this world"

Fijian player Semi Radradra, a star in rugby league and a new Toulon recruit, was at the Berg training centre today for his official presentation.
He pointed out that RCT was the only club he wanted to go to for his first experience in Europe: “When I decided to switch to rugby union and to come to Europe, I wanted to come to Toulon, because it’s the greatest European club and one of the best in the world. I wanted to be part of this world. The club has a great history, won many titles and Jonny Wilkinson played there.”
As he was asked about his abilities to adapt to rugby union, the powerful centre or wing reassured the audience: “I actually started in rugby union. I even played the Under-20 World Cup. Centre is my favourite position: I really know where I am there. But I can also play as a wing. I’ll have to work to find a place in the game plan of the technical staff, but it’s an exciting challenge. Many Fijian players succeeded in the Top 14.”
