The statements ahead of La Rochelle vs Toulon

Here are the main statements ahead of the Top 14 semi-final between La Rochelle and Toulon, Friday, May 26th, at the Stade Orange-Vélodrome (kick-off time : 9 p.m. CET).
Richard Cockerill, RCT manager: “No matter who is going to play or not. We are a team and, tomorrow, we’ll come to grab the win. La Rochelle are a strong team and they dominated the regular season, but we want to win.”
Duane Vermeulen, RCT captain: “Motivation is high ahead of this game. I would like this team to reach the final, for the sake of the club. It’s going to be quite a test and we all hope we’ll have a broad grin after the game.”
Patrice Collazo, La Rochelle manager: “Given the number of injured players, I hope everything gets back into order. If, after trying to sell the club and look for a new coach, they’re now looking for players… But I’m not too worried. The Toulon Chairman has always come up with solutions. If he wants tough guys, well, we have some! My assistant is not too bad. But I think that even the Toulon manager can play for the team. As for us, Xavier Garbajosa can’t play anymore, his knee hurts too much, and, for my part, I’ve grown too fat. They could still have offered us the game, this would have pleased us more.”
