Rhys Webb to leave Toulon at the end of the season

Due to family reasons, Wales scrum-half Rhys Webb asked Rugby Club Toulonnais not to honour the last year in his contract. His request was granted by the club. Rhys Webb will then go back to Wales, to be near his family, but the Welsh player still intends to bring all his experience to the team, so that the best results should be achieved before he leaves.
Rhys Webb sent the following message to his supporters:
“I would like to thank the club for their warm welcome and the support they have given me since I arrived, last season. It was and still is an honour to play for this great club. I have enjoyed every moment of the time spent here and I would particularly like to thank my team-mates and the managers, as well as the supporters. They are family to me and will be friends for life. Being far from my family and my young children has been quite difficult for me, but I am still determined to give my very best for the club until the end of the season. I sincerely hope we’ll earn the victories the club deserves.”
