Chris Ashton to join the RCT next year!

Your favourite club has pulled off another masterful stroke on the transfer market: Chris Ashton is to become a RCT player next season.
The England wing, who scored 19 tries in 39 games played with his national team – and, last year, scored 11 tries in 14 Aviva Premiership games with Saracens, as well as 4 tries in 8 Champions Cup games – signed a three-year contract and will thus be a RCT player until 2020, at least.
Chris Ashton, aged 29, is 5 ft 5 in tall and weighs 14 st 4 lb. He started playing for Wigan in rugby league, then switched to rugby union in 2007 and played for Northampton. He has been playing for Saracens since 2012. Throughout his career so far, he has scored 70 tries in 120 Premiership games and 31 tries in 50 Champions Cup games.
He is well-known to the public for his trademark “swallow dives” when celebrating his tries: no doubt he’ll have the opportunity to thrill the crowd at the Mayol stadium when he joins the club!
