Toulon lose 13-9 at home against La Rochelle

Rugby Club Toulonnais lost the home game against Stade Rochelais 13-9, last Sunday.
Looking to boost their self-confidence, our men in red and black yet started the game in the worst possible manner, as La Rochelle fly-half Ihaia West scored a try as early as the 5th minute and then converted it. It was rainy and, despite their commitment, the Toulon players could not come back in the game and lost at the Stade Mayol. They still pick up a bonus point for a narrow defeat.
It was a huge disappointment and Toulon will have to win the game against Perpignan, next Saturday (kick-off time: 6.45 p.m.), to end that bad patch and give themselves a bit of fresh air before the interruption due to international matches.
