Toulon lose 21-14 at the Stade Mayol

After a scrappy game, in which the players showed much commitment – even too much, sometimes –, Lyon won 21-14 at the Stade Mayol, thanks to a try by Thibault Regard a few minutes before the end, after a ball was intercepted.
Toulon had previously scored two tries – one penalty try and one by JP Pietersen –, as Lyon had – thanks to Nakaitaci and Couilloud.
The next game at the Stade Mayol will be played next Saturday: Toulon will face Racing 92 in the opening round of the Top 14 – the first clash of the season.
