Chris Ashton released from his contract at his request

At the request of the player, Rugby Club Toulonnais has decided to release Chris Ashton from the two years that remained on his contract. The Englishman was not in the appropriate psychological conditions to play in France – and for RCT, for the matter – any more, because of major family issues.
RCT heartily thanks Chris Ashton and wishes him the best in his future career.
